HaaDai privacy policy
This policy explains the information HaaDai collects, uses, discloses, retains, and deletes when you use our website or iOS and Android apps.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, assigned user ID, one-way password hash, and optional phone number.
- User content and safety choices: listings, descriptions, prices, district, categories, photos, favorites, messages, submitted reports, blocked-user relationships, and terms-acceptance records.
- Necessary technical data: login tokens, network requests, and limited security or server-log information used to prevent abuse.
The current apps do not request device location, access contacts or the microphone, or collect payment information. They contain no third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics SDK. Search requests are used to return results and are not retained by HaaDai as search history.
How we use information
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, provide listings and messaging, show seller contact details the seller chooses to provide, secure the service, prevent fraud, provide support, and comply with applicable law. We do not sell personal data or use it to track people across apps or websites owned by other companies.
How information is disclosed
Listing content and seller contact details selected by a seller may be visible to other HaaDai users as part of the marketplace. Infrastructure providers may process data only as needed to operate the service. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect safety, or to prevent fraud and abuse.
Security and retention
Production traffic uses HTTPS. The iOS app stores tokens in Keychain, the Android app uses encrypted storage, and passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Account data and content are retained while the account is active or as needed to provide the service. After deletion, limited security logs, server logs, or backup copies may remain temporarily or as required by law before expiring under their retention cycle.
Your choices and deletion
You can permanently delete your account and linked data from the Account screen on the web, iOS, or Android. Deletion removes the account, contact details, listings, photos, favorites, messages, reports you submitted, and block relationships from active systems and immediately invalidates existing login tokens. Limited safety-enforcement records may be retained when legally required or necessary to prevent abuse.
